Jim is a co-founder of BDB Bridge. Jim brings to the table more than 20 years of steel erection and bridge rehabilitation expertise across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and Connecticut.
His involvement in BDB is no coincidence. An inventor at heart, Jim never stops trying to solve the problems he has faced as a bridge construction subcontractor over the past two decades. He has since received several patents for equipment related to jacking and erecting bridges.
Jim is a hands-on owner. He served an apprenticeship with Ironworkers’ Local 36 in 1984 and has been a member ever since. Jim is also well versed in construction management, OSHA Safety Training, AutoCAD, bidding, estimating, and project management. He has tackled some of the most challenging situations in the field, including curved bridges.
Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Purdue University in 1989.
