BDB Bridge supplied the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission NB-129 Bridge Replacement (Contract A020.00T002-3-03). This new bridge carries Morris Road over the Northeast Extension.

This project required J.F. Shea Construction to erect 4 continuous girder lines with one center pier. Each girder line consisted of 3 girder segments (2 field splices).

The Turnpike Commission had planned for multiple night time traffic stoppages over the course of several nights. We proposed supporting the western segment on our Hydra-Tower System with a single right lane closure. The remaining segments would be erected from the opposite side of the road with a single crane with only one detour. This was far less inconvenient for the traveling public.
