HYDRA 800™ towers were conceived to replace the crude and cumbersome climbing jacks used in many Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC) projects; however, their use is only limited by their lifting capacity.

HYDRA 800™ towers are currently in the research and development stage. Once available, these patent-pending units will stand approximately 8’ high and be capable of 4’ extensibility with a continuous locking mechanism for a rated vertical load and lifting capacity of 800 kips. These units target the growing ABC market as part of a complete transport/lift system, although they can be also used as stand-alone units depending upon project needs.
